Mystic Cruises is set to launch a new Antarctica expedition season, running from November 2025 to March 2026. This is the period when the company’s ships explore the White Continent, offering expedition voyages focused on discovery, science, and responsible nature observation.
The World Explorer, operated by Quark Expeditions, will arrive in Ushuaia on 6th of November, marking the official start of the season. It will be followed by the World Traveller (11nd November), World Voyager (14th November), and World Navigator (20th November), operated by Atlas Ocean Voyages.
The Mystic Cruises experience in Antarctica
Since 2019, Mystic Cruises has been sailing to Antarctica, beginning its polar operations with the World Explorer. During the Antarctic summer – from November to March – Antarctica expeditions take place under milder temperatures and with abundant wildlife activity.
Travellers can observe penguins, whales, seals, and seabirds against a backdrop of glaciers, mountains, and vast ice-covered landscapes. On board, experienced naturalists and expedition leaders guide shore landings and wildlife observation, while Zodiac boats enable close-up exploration of ice formations and coastal areas inaccessible to the main vessels.
Each Mystic Cruises expedition is designed to provide an authentic and educational experience in this extreme environment, combining onboard comfort with a strong focus on conservation and environmental awareness.
Commitment to responsible exploration
Mystic Cruises is a proud member of IAATO (International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators), an organization founded in 1991 to promote safe and environmentally responsible travel to Antarctica. The company strictly adheres to IAATO guidelines to ensure that all voyages are conducted with the highest standards of environmental protection and operational safety.
