Mystic Cruises Sustainability Reports

Mystic Cruises demonstrates its commitment to sustainability through the ongoing monitoring of environmental indicators and practices that reflect our initiatives and technological progress.

Our fleet features advanced Rolls-Royce hybrid propulsion systems, which reduce emissions and energy consumption, complemented by hydro-jet technology that minimises underwater noise and helps protect marine ecosystems. These solutions enable quieter sailing and closer encounters with wildlife, while safeguarding sensitive habitats.

We also monitor the efficient use of resources and waste reduction, including sophisticated water-treatment systems and recycling processes. We encourage our suppliers to reduce packaging and ensure on-board teams follow strict separation and recycling protocols.

We closely track the performance of our waste-management systems, including wastewater treatment, recycling, and compliance with the Ballast Water Management Plan. We continue to focus on energy conservation, eliminating single-use plastics, reducing packaging, and ensuring there is no discharge of waste into the sea.

In addition, we promote digital solutions to reduce paper consumption. All of these practices, recognised by international authorities, reinforce our commitment to protecting the oceans and natural habitats.

Through these measures, we aim to reduce our environmental impact while continuing to deliver exceptional travel experiences, information we are currently consolidating, which will form the basis of our future sustainability report.
